Marmite Extra Large (500g)

Introduced my American husband to Marmite 5 years ago. It took him a while to acquire a taste for it, but now he loves it. I remember British mothers putting marmite on toast fingers for their babies. I tried that with my children, but must have started doing it too late; they are both grown now and they both still think Marmite is disgusting! They don't know what they are missing!

Marmite is one of those very British products that the rest of the world looks at and says ‘what???’ Along with food like jellied eels, faggots, black pudding, it is one of those peculiar things that is considered perfectly normal by us (or most of us!) and viewed with bewilderment by others (‘how can you eat that stuff?’, ‘it smells disgusting’, what do you actually eat it with’ etc. etc.)
